Did you know Oktoberfest was originally a harvest festival! We’re celebrating the harvest, Wooly Pig style the first 2 weekends of October. Here are some highlights!
To start: We tap the Rauchbier to join the Festbier on the second weekend of Oktoberfest.
October 11, 12, and 13th: Bob Mckenna of McKenna’s Farm Market and the Lava Rock Grill teams up with the Wooly Pig to present some traditional German cuisine highlighting everyone’s favorite pig: the Mangalitsa grown right here on spent beer grain from the Wooly Pig!
October 12th (Saturday, 1:30pm): We tap the Holzfass, a traditional 50L wooden serving keg. Watch out for the spray!
October 12th, 5pm: Chestnut Hill Bluegrass band entertains us with some good ol’ local bluegrass
Oktoberfest Specials: 1 L Wooly Pig “Mass Krug” (the big steins) on SALE with a fill of the Festbier while supplies last!
