Did you know Oktoberfest was originally a harvest festival! We’re celebrating the harvest, Wooly Pig style the first 2 weekends of October. Here are some highlights!
To start: We tap the FESTBIER. Time of tapping on Friday, Oct 5 will be announced later. The first 50L will be tapped from our traditional wooden keg.
October 5 and 6: Bob Mckenna of McKenna’s Farm Market and the Lava Rock Grill teams up with the Wooly Pig to present some traditional German cuisine highlighting everyone’s favorite pig: the Mangalitsa grown right here on spent beer grain from the Wooly Pig!
October 6, 5pm: Chestnut Hill Bluegrass band entertains us with some good ol’ local bluegrass
October 12 - 13: Road Hog Willy’s Food truck, bringing chicken quarters to grill on-site, brauts and sauerkraut.
