Descriptions of all Wooly Pig beers over the years
With 12 taps, we have to keep our beers on rotation in order to brew all the varieties that suit our fancies. We’re always coming up with new additions and rotating through old favorites.
1899 Old Pils - Like the Wooly Pig farm, a blend of pre-Prohibition methods and modern materials. Regionally grown and malted barley plus experimental HBC-630 hops create a light, smooth American pils base with a creamy, fruity nose. 5.2% ABV.

Anniversary Lager - To celebrate WPFB's birthday, a Rothbier ("red beer") with a vibrant garnet hue & tasty bready finish. 5.2% ABV.
2022: For our 5th! A beautiful, garnet-red honey bock. Local honey lends a full-bodied nose, gentle sweetness, and, of course, high gravity to our birthday beer. 7.7 ABV. ,
Baltic Porter - Larger, bolder cousin to Schwarzbier, with subtle dark caramelized sweetness. 7.9% ABV.
Black IPL - Dark & velvety smooth, a black India Pale Lager dry hopped with Galaxy and Simcoe hops. 6.2% ABV
Bock - Robust malty flavors warm up a forceful, yet drinkable dark amber lager. 6.2% ABV.
BSF Weizen - An unusual amber-colored German wheat beer whose full name is Bernsteinfarbenes Weizen. Hearty malt flavor underpins the banana and spice of the Weiß yeast. This beer’s a mouthful! 5.2% ABV
Chocolate Maple Baltic Porter - We like our beer like our Valentines: sweet, rich, and well balanced. Meet the Chocolate Maple Baltic Porter. Finally a Valentine that you can share with your friends. 8.2% ABV
Chocolate Coconut Baltic Porter -We like our beer like our Valentines: sweet, rich, and well balanced. With chocolate and toasted coconut, we’ve doubled-down on lucious flavors for a rich liquid dessert.7.6
Classic Berliner Weisse - traditional sour German wheat beer. 3.9% ABV
Classic Gose- a tart and refreshing wheat beer with hints of salt. 4.5% ABV
Coconut Maple Baltic Porter -Toasted coconut AND maple syrup! We've doubled-down on luscious, rich flavors in the Baltic Porter for a creamy liquid dessert. 8.2% ABV.
Coffee Pils -With Backroom Coffee Roasters Elevation small batch coffee. Cold-brewed for the perfect cup. 4.9% ABV.
County Fair Amber - an American amber lager with smooth malty flavors and toasty, campfire whispers. 5.5% ABV.
Dortmunder - simple and elegant, a lovely golden lager with a pleasing malt aroma and mild flavors. 5.3% ABV
Dry-hopped Pils /Drei Hopfen Pils: Our Keller Pils, top loaded with Saphir hops for bright hoppy aromas but no extra bitterness. 4.9% ABV.
Dunkel - Full-bodied bavarian brown lager with underlying malty sweetness. 5.5% ABV
Dunkel-Weizen - in our German-style Weiß beer series,combining the best yeast & wheat characters of a hefe-weizen with the malty richness of a dunkel. 4.8% ABV.
Festbier - brewed with all German malt and hops, this deep golden lager with bready notes celebrates the Autumn harvest 5.5% ABV
*2021-brewed with Epiphany malt grown in the Andechs region of Bavaria, this liquid celebration of the Autumn harvest is a deep golden lager with bready notes. 6.1% ABV
Franconian Method* - brewed from a historic 1879 recipe, this "Kulmbacher-style Export" melds full malty dark beer flavor with a hoppy tang. 6.2% ABV

Fresh-hopped Helles - Our favorite Tap Standard spiced up with freshly picked Saaz hops grown on the Wooly Pig Farm/local hopyard, Coshocton Hops. 4.9% ABV
Fresh-hopped Pils- our Keller Pils amended with ripe, green hops from Coshocton Hops for a seasonal treat. 4.9% ABV
From the Heart -a love letter to Ohio’s craft beer scene, Amarillo and Idaho 7 hops bring tangerine, mango and peach-y goodness and hint of pine to this IPL. 6.0% ABV
Fruited Berliner Weisse - a tart wheat beer emboldened with fruit. 4.4% ABV.
Fruited Gose - Subtly salty, tart wheat beer. Lemony & refreshing, decked out with cranberry, ginger & hibiscus. 4.5% ABV.
Golden Vienna - "A heavenly drink of concentrated sunshine," made with 100% Vienna malt for a smooth, malty sip. 5.0% ABV.
Hefe-Weizen - the first in our German-style Weiß beer series, light but complex with hints of banana bread and lemons. 4.7% ABV.
Holiday Lager - Jolly up a Rothbier* (red beer) with locally grown american persimmons and spice for an old fashioned Christmas beer. 5.5% ABV. *2020: Rye Dunkel
Honey Bock -a beautiful bronze high gravity beer presenting a full-bodied nose from local honey balanced by a light bready base and crisp finish. 8.0% ABV.
Honey Cream Ale - 5 gallons of local, raw honey adds vanilla and floral notes to this crisp lager. 5.4% ABV.
IFL - India "Farm" Lager: a hoppy, copper lager combining the hoppy character of an IPA with smooth, full flavor 5.6% ABV.
IPL Eins- Cousin to the IPA, a German lager, emboldened by Galaxy, Citra & Azacca hops for a tropical bouquet. 6.0% ABV
IPL Fünf - brewed entirely with Galaxy hops, Our 5th IPL has a clean bright bitterness with hints of passionfruit and lemongrass. 5.5% ABV
IPL Vier - Citrusy and tropical hops combine with mango puree for tropical, hoppy lager. 6.0% ABV.
IPL Zwei- Pink guava blended with the citrusy & tropical hops of the IPL Eins. 6.0% ABV
Keller Pils - Hoppy, German-style Pilsner. Bright & floral with subtle maltiness. 4.9% ABV
Kleines Keller - Kleines means small. At 3.5% ABV, this delicate pilsner is small in kick, but satisfying in flavor. Tactfully dry-hopped with Ohio Cluster & German Saphir hops. 3.5% ABV.
Maibock -a "high-octane Helles," this strong golden lager is balanced with a healthy dose of Noble hops-- perfect to celebrate Spring! 7.6% ABV.
Manganator - this double of our dunkel, this doppelbock is the traditional German “meal in a glass”
Mega Manganator - This Leap Year version of our doppelbock is a rich, complex and powerful lager brewed to put an extra bounce in your step. 9.2% ABV.
Maple Baltic Porter - our smooth, dark Baltic Porter, elevated with rich, sweet, all-local maple syrup. Packs a punch! 8.2% ABV.
Maple Sap Cream Ale - 500 gal. of Fresno maple sap and 100% Ohio malt create a light & crisp, locally-sourced beer, with hints of honey and freshly plowed earth. 5.6% ABV.
Marzen - Brewed with all German malt and hops, an amber lager with rich, clean malt character. 5.5% ABV.
Midwinter IPL - While you wait for the sun’s return, enjoy the glimmer and gleam of this dark & velvety smooth India Pale Lager. Dry hopped with Galaxy, Simcoe and HB630 hops. 6.4%
OohAhh - called Ungespundet because it is fresh and unfiltered, ours is a rotbier (red lager) with a bright garnet hue and tasty bready finish.

PawPaw Berliner Weisse - German-style sour wheat beer, fermented with locally grown PawPaw, a native Ohio fruit evoking bananas, mangos and custard. 4.5% ABV.
PawPaw Pils - German-style Keller Pils, cheered up with local-grown pawpaw, for a tropical twist. 5.0 ABV,
Peaches & Cream Ale - 200+ lbs. of Wooly Pig Farm peaches embellish a honey cream ale, for a tart and fruity reminder of summer on the farm. 5.4% ABV.
Peach Honey Bock - local honey and peaches from the farm mix sweetness and zing in this high gravity bock. 8.6% A.B.V.
Pineapple Berliner Weisse - a tart wheat beer, sweetened with pineapple. 3.9% ABV.
Rauchbier -The ultimate in savory beer; bacon and campfire notes from the smoked grains waft over a drinkable, malty base. 5.0% ABV.
Resilience IPA - Boasting Centennial & Cascade hops, old-school IPA flavors top off a charitable cause. 100% of sales benefit victims of Calif. wildfires. 6.8% ABV.
Roggen - First in our German-style ale series, amber with hints of banana and cloves. A spicy collaboration with biscuit rye from Country Malt Group 4.9% ABV.
Rustic Helles- A traditional “Landbier.” Gentle floral hops; clean bavarian malt character. A great introduction to German-style craft beer. 4.9% ABV
Rye Dunkel - Full-bodied bavarian brown lager brewed with 15% rye for a spicy complement to the malty sweetness. 5.5% ABV
Schwarzbier - Smooth, flavorful black lager with hints of dark chocolate & wood smoke. 4.4% ABV.
Simcoe Session Lager - Looking for flavor you can savor all day? At just 4.6% A.B.V., this hoppy gem is perfectly brewed for on-going enjoyment. 4.6% ABV
Spruce tip lager: tender spring growth from local spruce lends a citrus tang and pine tingle to a pilsner base. 5.0% ABV.
Weizenbock - rich & smooth, this bold German Weiß beer tastes like Bananas Foster, proving you can have your cake & drink it, too. 7.2% ABV
Wooly Raven Saison - a French farmhouse style beer, fermented with Raven’s Glenn Winery vidal blanc must. Ohio malt, hops and grapes! 9.9% ABV.
